Drupal 8 is in growth, with no set launch time frame yet. The work on Drupal 8 is separated into groups, known as Primary initiatives: Cellular, Templates, Web Services, Settings Control, and HTML5. Search engines Summer time of Code is supporting 20 Drupal tasks.
Core

In the Drupal group, the phrase "core" means anything outside of the "sites" directory in a Drupal set up. Drupal core is the inventory factor of Drupal. In its standard configuration, a Drupal site's material can be provided by either authorized or confidential customers (at the attention of the administrator) and is made available to web guests by a wide range of selectable requirements. Drupal core also has a ordered taxonomy system, which allows material to be classified or marked with key terms for simpler accessibility.
Drupal preserves a specific changelog of core function up-dates by edition.
